Method 1 of 3: Linking a Credit Card


1-Log into your PayPal account. Linking your credit card no longer verifies your account, but it can be used to lift sending limits and allow you to receive money. It will not grant you complete verification, however, meaning that you may still be charged fees that verified members are not.^[1]

2-Click the "View Limits" link. This is located in the Overview section of your My Account page. This will take you to a page that will show your current sending and withdrawal limits, as well as the limits for both Basic and Verified accounts. Adding a card will turn your account into a Basic account.

1. 3-Click "Link a card". This will take you to the "Add credit or debit card" page. Use the form to enter in your credit or debit card information. Make sure to enter the correct billing information.
